We tried all the other hosts - LunarPages, iPowerWeb, vhst01.net, Las Vegas Web Hosting, Avahost.net, BinaryBlocks.com, TSCNet, DONOBI, RackShack, ETC - and the quality of support, speed and uptime was disappointing.

If you look at the threads in the v7 support area on the v7n boards, you'll see these guys are on top of support issues. They even let us know when they can when there will be a short outage. Recently I had to pm tech support about a problem that occurred with a photo gallery after a server move. I sent the message in the middle of the night, and as the problem wasn't of immediate necessity, I didn't expect a response right away. The next morning when I got online, it was fixed.

Even as they upgraded servers, and DNS had to resolve for the new servers, as far as I could tell, my site experienced no downtime. Not once did I try to access my site that it wasn't there. These guys are great. (And I'm not affiliated, just a customer.) They truly believe in customer satisfaction, and don't pull any funny business. If a problem is their fault, they are quick to admit it, and fix it.

If money isn't a concern, go with v7. You may pay a little more than "budget" hosts, but you get reliability and great support. As the saying goes... You get what you pay for.

When we asked about the downtime, they denied the server being down.
